This job reports to the Director of Human Resources and salary will be based on qualifications and includes bonus plan.

Job Purpose Statement: The Human Resource Assistant provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource process for all Apex3/Premier Security personnel.

Job Functions:

  • Ensure full IDFPR compliance through weekly PER card applications, monthly PER card roster requests and responses, PER card renewal, Firearms Authorization card processing and yearly compliance audits
  • Primary contact with Illinois State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation and IDFPR
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly New Hire Orientation
  • Employee ID Card Processing and Issuance
  • Uniform program maintenance and primary vendor contact for anniversary vouchers
  • Responsible for data entry of new hire information in the Vision system
  • Responsible for out processing of new hires every week following the training academy
  • New hire data entry
  • Update current employee information.
  • Issuance of new hire orientation agreements and corporate property
  • Distribute terminated employees checks
  • Responsible for maintaining employee IDFPR files and termination files
  • Responsible for collection of corporate property upon termination
  • Create and maintain monthly reports 
  • Provide front desk relief for lunch, breaks and meetings
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • 1 year of prior Human Resource experience preferred.
