  • Assist overseeing the entire operating department.
  • Being a mentor and daily resource to supervisory personnel.
  • Building and maintaining client and building tenant relations.
  • Acting as a local, state and federal agency liaison.
  • Administrative assignments to include, interviewing/recruitment, billing, payroll, data entry, overtime control, etc.
  • Direct fiscal responsibility via cost effective budget management.
  • Conducting employee training & skill development of all department personnel.
  • Conducting employee inspections and appraisals.
  • Policy and procedure development.
  • Fire/life safety/security alarm response.
  • Conducting emergency response drills and training with all staff.
  • Bi-annual building tenant fire drills in cooperation with CFD.
  • Providing customer service to the highest level possible.
  • Achieving the CFD Emergency Preparedness Certification.
  • Responsibilities as described in the Departments Operations Manual.

  • AED/CPR Certified.




  • Must have 2-5 years prior experience in a supervisory position overseeing work of 15+ employees.
  • A 4-year college degree is preferred.
  • Must have an excellent attendance record.
  • Must have an exceptional job performance record.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have an aggressive work philosophy and strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Must have experience with fire/life/safety programs.
