This position requires a well organized and cooperative individual who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of clients, building tenants, and co-workers as well as have a proven track record of being reliable and responsible.


  • Building and maintaining client and tenant relations.


  • Responsible for all communication reports and daily paperwork for the shift.


  • Responsible for communication, pass down and roll call between the shifts.


  • Responsible for conducting building tours and documenting irregularities.


  • Responsible for discipline, coaching, counseling, performance reviews and off hour inspections of shift and department.


  • Responsible for maintaining positive and professional client and customer relations with the residents, the management office, engineering, housekeeping and the security services staff.


  •  Responsible for attending regular shift manger meetings, corporate training and department events as scheduled by the client and the department Director.


  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between the security services staff and the department director.



  • Must be at least 21 years of age.


  • Must be a high school graduate (GED accepted) and provide us with an original diploma and/or official transcripts.


  • Must have 20 Hour Basic Security Training Certification


  • A four year college degree is preferred.


  • Must have at least 2 years experience managing 5+ employees, preferably in a security environment.


  • Must pass a stringent pre-employment background investigation, demonstrating a stable work history.


  • Must disclose all criminal convictions and pending charges.


  • Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.


  • Must have strong leadership and team building skills.


  • Must be computer literate.


  • Must have an excellent appearance and exceptional attitude.


  • Must be willing to "go the extra mile" in welcoming and assisting building tenants, visitors and client representatives.


  • Must be flexible with scheduling and be able to hold over to the next shift or work extra hours as needed.


  • Must be able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast paced environment.


  • Must be self-motivated and proactive in finding solutions to security/customer service related issues.


  • Must maintain a working telephone number through which we can reach you.


  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
